1、 Lithium ion battery
(1) Lithium ion batteries with a single capacity not exceeding (including) 10Ah
This type of battery is generally used in various coal mine safety instruments and meters, and does not issue separate safety signs for mining products, but should meet the following requirements:
(1) Lithium cobalt oxide and ternary lithium-ion batteries shall not be used
(2) Include in the management of Class C controlled components
(3) Inspection reports issued by national or ministerial level testing and inspection institutions within 3 years must be submitted, with battery safety performance indicators not lower than the provisions of Article 4.4 of MT/T 1051-2007 "Lithium ion Batteries for Mining Lanterns".
(4) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve
(5) The equipment should detect the voltage of each lithium-ion battery, the voltage and current of the battery pack, and other parameters. The information display and fault alarm function of the detection should meet the actual needs
(6) When the battery pack supplies power, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent and produced by the same manufacturer.
(7) Lithium ion batteries used in intrinsically safe and sealed equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010, GB3836.4-2010, or GB3836.9-2006, but also:
A、 The total energy should not exceed 100Wh
B、 The battery should be placed in a separate battery compartment, and sealing equipment is not required
C、 Equipped with single battery overcharge voltage protection, single battery over discharge voltage protection, charging over-current protection, discharging over-current protection, and output short-circuit protection
(8) Lithium ion batteries used in explosion-proof electrical equipment should not only meet the relevant requirements of GB3836.1-2010 GB3836.2-2010, but also meet the following requirements:
A、 The battery should be placed in an independent battery compartment with certain protective capabilities, and the protective circuit should be placed outside the compartment. When the rated energy of the battery pack is greater than 200Wh, the battery pack should be placed separately in an explosion-proof chamber and able to withstand a 1.5MPa water pressure test. The protective circuit should be placed outside the explosion-proof chamber.
B、 The maximum energy of a lithium-ion battery pack in an explosion-proof chamber should not exceed 32KWh
C、 When the rated energy of the battery pack is ≤ 200Wh, the battery management system should have single cell overcharge voltage protection, single cell overdischarge voltage protection, charging overcurrent protection, discharging overcurrent protection, output short circuit protection, and temperature protection functions
D、 When the rated energy of the battery pack is greater than 200Wh, it should meet the relevant requirements of the "Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Electrical Equipment - Explosion proof Battery Power Supply".
(2) Lithium ion batteries with a single capacity exceeding 10Ah
1. Mining product safety signs should be obtained in accordance with the Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Mining Product Safety Signs for Lithium ion Batteries.
2. When using lithium-ion battery packs with a single capacity exceeding 10Ah for mining products (such as backup power sources), in addition to meeting the implementation rules for the corresponding review and distribution of each product, the "Supplementary Safety Technical Requirements for Lithium ion Batteries for Mining Products (Single Capacity>10Ah)" should also be met
2、 Nickel hydrogen battery
This type of battery is generally used in various coal mine safety instruments and meters, and does not issue separate safety signs for mining products, but should meet the following requirements:
(1) The individual capacity should not exceed 20Ah
(2) Include in the management of Class C controlled components
(3) Inspection reports issued by national or ministerial level testing and inspection institutions within 3 years must be submitted, and the technical indicators and performance requirements of the battery should meet the provisions of GB/T 22084.2-2008.
(4) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve
(5) It should be placed in an independent battery compartment with certain protective capabilities
(6) When the battery pack supplies power, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent and produced by the same manufacturer.
3、 Nickel cadmium battery
(1) The technical specifications and performance requirements of nickel cadmium batteries should meet the relevant requirements of GB/T 22084.1-2008
(2) Include in the management of Class C controlled components
(3) When sealing batteries with pressure relief valves, an exhaust port should be reserved at the pressure relief valve
(4) It should be placed in an independent battery compartment with certain protective capabilities
(5) When the battery pack supplies power, the type, specifications, and technical parameters of the individual batteries should be consistent and produced by the same manufacturer.
4、 Special type lead-acid batteries for coal mines
(1) The special type lead-acid batteries used in coal mines are limited to the power use of underground transport vehicles and should obtain safety signs in accordance with the requirements of the "Implementation Rules for the Review and Issuance of Safety Signs for Mining Products - Special Type Lead Acid Batteries".
(2) Special lead-acid batteries (including lead crystal batteries) are strictly prohibited from being used in explosion-proof and sealed equipment.
